The OIL Youth Committee is supporting Sakeenah Homes this Ramadan to help others in need. We will be running an Eid Gift Drive during Ramadan where people can sign up to give a gift to a child or mother. Sakeenah homes is a charitable organization founded in 2018. They provide a home to children and women facing domestic abuse and homelessness. Their goal is to help as many children and women as possible.
All the information for this gift drive can be found on the poster below, or click here to go directly to the sign-up sheet, which also lists the various drop-off points around the GTA.
If you prefer, you can donate money directly to this initiative via our Donate page and then select “Eid Gift Drive by OIL Youth Group” as your designated cause. A Youth Committee member will purchase needed gift items using your donated funds and deliver the gifts to Sakeenah Homes in time for Eid.
